O.K. So maybe Roland doesn't always get it right. All right, almost never. Still, there's nobody who tries harder. And you gotta give the guy credit. He thinks he is "the man." We all wish we had that kind of self-esteem.
It all started for Roland in a small town outside Chicago. The middle child in a family with three children, he was always trying to get noticed. Unfortunately, he was usually
noticed for things like science projects that nearly blew up the kitchen.
When his family moved to Jackson Hill, Roland saw the move as an opportunity to start over. He is a good-looking guy and he knew if he found something he could be good at, in his new school, his popularity would soar.

He talks some on the telephone and he's trying to figure out how to get on the internet (that may take a while).
